Mgr, HR

Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems for all employees
Prepare and processes HRIS transactions, including employee status, pay rate changes, address changes, etc
Serve as a link between management and employees
Responsible for administering the collective bargaining agreement and attend grievance meetings
Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of direct reports (HR Generalist)
Prepare and conduct plant-wide training on various topics, including benefits, 401(k) retirement plans, plant policies, salary continuation, legal and ethical compliance, harassment, diversity, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Recruit for open positions by assessing needs and objectives, help managers identify appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities, review resumes, conduct interviews, facilitate selection of candidates, and prepare offer letters
Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as EEO-1, AAP and HR legal updates
Conduct new hire orientation covering relevant policies and procedures
Participate in maintaining compliance with TS16949 quality standard and ISO14001 environmental standard
Education Requirements Bachelor Degree in field directly related to Human Resources (HR Development, Labor Relations, etc.) Experience and Skill Requirements Good understanding of Human Resource principals
Coaching and conflict management skills
Knowledge of applicable federal and state employment law
Excellent oral and written communications, customer contact and presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong leadership abilities
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Understanding and ability to apply TS16949 standard

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
