This Sr. Supply Chain Coordinator will support our Fayette, OH facility. This position is part of the supply chain process that plans, implements, and controls the efficient, effective flow and storage of goods, services, and related information from the point-of-origin to the point of- consumption to meet customers' requirements. This position will report directly to the Plant Materials Manager.
Tool Crib Responsibilities
Manually receive and inspect all incoming indirect materials and enters data in QAD.
Prepare items to be shipped via UPS.
Evaluate inventory levels as requisition is being evaluated. Determine based on historic usage where the mins/maxes should be set.
Create locations both physical and in QAD for new parts introduced to the storeroom. Organize items on shelving in stockroom in an orderly fashion.
Rectify inventories in the QAD system to accurately reflect the tool cribs' actual inventories.
Identify items required on the floor and assist individuals in finding these parts.
Expediting parts from vendors that are on order.
Obtain quotes on parts that are not stock items from vendors.
Perform duties deemed necessary by management.
Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities
Study shipping notices, bills of lading, orders and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods require to meet shipping and receiving schedules
Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Prepares bills of lading and barcodes per customer and ZF shipping requirements
Transmits advance shipment notices for all customer shipments
Enters product receipts into QAD.
Oversees the staging of loading product per customer shipping requirements
Responsible for container management
Coordinate transportation between warehouse location and manufacturing location
Assist with physical inventories.
Assists in enforcing prescribed safety rules and regulations and ensure that work areas are maintained in a neat and orderly condition
Education Requirements High School Diploma/G.E.D. Experience and Skill Requirements Excellent technical writing, documentation and record keeping skills.
Oral communication skills as you will be communicating with the customer.
Solid knowledge of MRP systems. Experience with QAD MRP system a plus.
Maintain and provide current understanding of industry best practices. Manufacturing background/knowledge (considered a plus). Good analytical problem-solving ability.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to contribute in a cross functional collaborative environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
